Tel Aviv-Jaffa, or simply Tel Aviv, is a city located on the Mediterranean coast of the State of Israel. A modern city, founded only over a century ago, in 1909, merged with the Ottoman-era port city of Jaffa in 1950. Today, blending Ottoman memories with modern elements, the city bears the nickname "the city without interruption" in keeping with its dynamic and young population. Also known as "the bubble", Tel Aviv is the economic heart of the country and its inhabitants live in a peaceful and tolerant atmosphere, relatively far from the conflicts surrounding the State of Israel. The city firmly affirms its penchant for the arts, festivities and sports with its theaters, music, museums and art galleries as well as its many restaurants and bars. Here, the party is in full swing in a bar and ends on the beach! Rich in history and looking to the future, the city aims to embody success. Mainly built on a Bauhaus architecture model, some parts of the city center are listed as Unesco World Heritage. Its landscaped waterfront is reminiscent of the Californian coastline with pedestrian promenades, bicycle paths, beach bars, etc. For those who like to shop, Tel Aviv is the ideal destination!
